We are so happy to share that we have added Freya to our family! She is an 8 week old English Labrador. We first met her a week ago and knew we had to have her. After a long week of waiting we were finally able to bring her home!!

It was a long week as we anxiously awaited the day we could bring her home! The kids had a blast helping us get things set up for her. They even tested out her cot and some of her toys!

We feel like this whole thing was just meant to be! I rarely am on Facebook anymore but I decided to check it one night. One of my friends had shared a post that her friend had Black Lab puppies! I immediately messaged Jennifer for more information. She told me all about Red and her parents Samson and Delilah (pictured below). Absolutely beautiful dogs bred from champion lines. We researched the breed and felt like it would be perfect for our lifestyle. A dog we can take camping, hiking and to the beach but also enjoy lazy days too! A few days later we met Red and knew she would be a great fit for our family! We decided the name Freya fit her well. Jennifer and Adam were such a nice couple and you could tell they care for their dogs greatly and wanted these puppies to go to good homes. We loved the idea of getting a dog from such a family! And the puppies were already used to being around small children which was a huge plus for us! Everything about the situation just felt right!

We have all been loving having a dog in the house again! We even spent time playing with her in the snow. Yes…SNOW! Freya is so playful, curious and smart. She has the sweetest personality. We cannot wait to bring her along on all our adventures!!
